What is Dibond with coating?

Dibond is an aluminium composite panel consisting of two thin aluminium layers with a plastic core. Adding a protective coating gives the panel an extra layer that protects the surface against scratches, weather influences and fingerprints. You can choose between a glossy or matte finish, depending on the look you want to achieve. Gloss gives a shiny, reflective effect that makes colors pop, while matte provides a calm, non-reflective appearance.

Which materials and sizes can you choose?

You can choose from various thicknesses and finishes: 3 mm, 4 mm or 6 mm Dibond Budget, or 3 mm Dibond with brushed aluminium (horizontal or vertical). The brushed aluminium has a unique texture that subtly reflects light. The panel is available in a standard size of 100 x 100 cm, but you can also specify a custom size. This way, you can tailor the panel exactly to your application.

Which printing and finishing options are available?

For printing, you can choose between 4/0 full colour (front only), 4/4 full colour (double-sided) or 5/0 full colour with 200% white. The 200% white undercoat is ideal if you want to print on dark material or if you need vibrant colors that cover well. After printing, you can have the panel cut to size or contour cut. For contour cutting, you can choose one simple shape, one complex shape or up to 5 shapes. This allows you to cut out a logo or an organic shape.

How do you mount the panel?

To hang the panel, you can add drill holes. You can choose, for example, drill holes in each corner (6, 8, 9 or 10 mm) or specify the number of drill holes, ranging from 1 to 10. The holes are drilled precisely at the positions you indicate, so you can mount the panel directly.

Additional options and production method

You can also add a white print, for example to give a white background to part of the design. You specify the placement of the white print by filling it completely or using a spot color. Production is done on a Durst P5 350 printer, known for its sharp prints and color accuracy. Furthermore, you can choose express production if you need the panel quickly. The panel is carefully packaged to prevent damage during transport.
