Care labels for your own clothing line

If you sell clothing, the fibre composition has to be on a label inside the garment. A care label with wash symbols also tells your customer exactly how to wash and iron the garment. With your own brand name on it, it is instantly a piece of branding on the inside.

What goes on a care label

In the EU the fibre composition is mandatory, in percentages, for example 95% cotton, 5% elastane. Care symbols are optional, but if you use them, all five types must be included: washing, bleaching, drying, ironing and professional cleaning, in that order. Many brands also add their name, website, manufacturer and country of origin.

Version and height

All care labels are 35 mm wide. Choose the height by the amount of text: 40 mm for brand name and symbols, 60 to 80 mm with composition and manufacturer, 100 mm if you use several languages. If your collection has several materials or sizes, order a separate care label per variant.

How to supply your design

Upload one complete design at 35 mm wide and the chosen height, as a PDF or PNG of at least 360 dpi. Keep text at least 2 mm high and leave about 5 mm clear at the top and bottom for the seam. We check every file before it goes into production.

Delivery time

Your care labels usually arrive within 6 to 10 working days. You pay the normal shipping costs of your country. Combine them with our woven labels with logo for a complete finish.
