Clear outdoor wayfinding

With a directional sign, you give visitors, suppliers, and customers clear route information at an entrance, parking lot, campus, healthcare facility, school, sports complex, campsite, or business premises. The system combines an aluminum frame with posts and a printed 3mm Dibond plate. This gives the sign a sturdy, neat appearance and keeps the message legible in all weather conditions.

Composition and sizes

You can choose from a complete set, only the printed plate for an existing frame, or only the aluminum frame. Available plate sizes are 100 x 100 cm, 75 x 150 cm, 80 x 120 cm, 120 x 80 cm, and 150 x 75 cm. For routes that need to be visible from two directions, choose double-sided printing; for a wall, driveway, or one-way walking direction, single-sided is usually sufficient.

Finishing and mounting

The Dibond plate can be ordered without coating, with matte coating, or with glossy coating. Matte reduces reflection in bright light, while gloss gives colors extra punch. The frame is 250 cm high and has posts with a diameter of 7 cm. Place the posts preferably at least 70 cm into the ground and use fast-setting concrete or a similar sturdy mounting solution when the ground requires it.

Supplying your design

Supply text, arrows, pictograms, and logos preferably as a sharp PDF. Keep important information at least 2 cm from the edge and away from drilling or mounting zones. For double-sided signs, you can supply two sides, so each walking or driving direction gets its own message.

Legibility and positioning

Keep directions concise and use clear arrows, familiar pictograms and strong contrast between text and background. Before installation, check the directions from which vehicles and visitors approach, and make sure planting, parked vehicles or lighting will not obstruct the sign. Inspect the fixings after severe weather and clean the panel with a soft cloth and mild detergent.

Practical artwork check

Preferably work in CMYK, convert essential fonts to outlines and inspect fine lines at final size. For double-sided printing, supply two clearly named pages or files. If you select the frame only, the upload step is skipped. The complete set is supplied as a kit; anchoring material for the ground is not included.
