What is a mesh banner?

A mesh banner is a large-format banner with an open weave. The micro-holes in the material allow wind to pass through, reducing wind load compared to a solid PVC banner. This makes it hang more stable and last longer, even in windy locations. The material weighs 270 g/m², sturdy enough for outdoor use, yet light enough to hang.

Which finish do you choose?

You determine the finish for each side. Options vary per side, so you can choose a pole pocket at the top and eyelets at the bottom. Available finishes include:

• Straight cut: the edge is cut straight, without additional attachment.
• Hemming: the edge is folded and sewn for a durable finish.
• Hemming and eyelets: choose eyelets at the corners or every 20, 25, 30, or 50 cm. The eyelets are metal and suitable for hanging.
• Pole pocket: a flat tunnel from 4 to 12 cm wide, through which you can insert a pole or cable.
• Stormfix: for eyelets every 20 or 30 cm, the corners are reinforced with double eyelets for extra stability in strong winds.
• Contour cutting: the banner is cut along the edges of your design, ideal for custom shapes.

How is a mesh banner printed?

Printing is done with a Durst Rho 512R LED printer in 4/0 full color. This means the front is fully printed in color. The ink is suitable for outdoor use and adheres well to the mesh material. You can choose between no printing or full color, depending on your application.

Where to use a mesh banner?

A mesh banner is often used on fences around construction sites, as a partition at events, or as a windsock at stages. Because it lets wind through, the banner stays in place better and puts less stress on the structure. You can also use it as a shade sail or as a flag at a company building.

How to order a mesh banner?

First, choose the size: 100 x 100 cm or a custom size. Then set the finish for each side. You can choose the quantity from 1 to 100. You can also indicate the urgency of production: standard, express, fast, or one day earlier. The banner is delivered packaged.

What to consider in the design?

Take into account the open weave: small letters and fine details may appear less sharp. Therefore, choose a large and clear font. Ensure a margin of at least 5 cm around so that nothing is lost during hemming or eyelet placement. Provide your file as PDF or TIFF with a resolution of at least 100 dpi at actual size.
