What is a tension fabric?

A tension fabric is a tightly stretched fabric with a flat keder (14 x 3 mm) on all sides. This keder allows you to easily hang the fabric using rods or tensioning systems. The result is a smooth, wrinkle-free surface. Perfect for a company logo on the wall, a piece of art, or an atmospheric image in a store or restaurant.

Which materials can you choose?

At Printen.eu, you have a choice of five materials for your tension fabric:

• 220 g/m² Decor fabric: a versatile fabric with a matte finish, suitable for most indoor applications.
• 220 g/m² Decor fabric XL: the same fabric, but in an extra-large format. Handy for large prints without visible seams.
• 260 g/m² Blackback: this fabric has a black backing, making it completely opaque. Ideal if you want to hang the fabric in front of a window or light source.
• 260 g/m² Blackback XL: the blackback fabric in an extra-large format.
• 200 g/m² Backlit: a semi-transparent fabric specially developed for illuminated applications, such as a lightbox. The colors then come to life beautifully.

Size and finishing

You order a tension fabric in the standard size 100 x 100 cm, or you specify a custom size. The finishing is the same on all sides: a flat keder of 14 x 3 mm. It is neatly sewn around the fabric, giving you an equal amount of space for mounting on all sides.

Print quality

The printing is done with a Durst Rhotex 325, a professional printer that delivers sharp and colorful results. The print is 4/0 full color, meaning full color on the front. Simply supply your design in the correct file format and we take care of the rest.

Ordering convenience

Choose the quantity you need, from 1 to 5 pieces per order. You can also select an urgency level: standard, fast, express, or one day earlier. This gives you control over when you receive the fabric. The fabric is carefully packaged to arrive undamaged.
