What is RoughMark™ Film?

RoughMark™ film is a self-adhesive print film specifically developed for rough and uneven surfaces. Where standard films peel off on concrete, brick, or wood, RoughMark™ adheres thanks to its polymer composition and thick adhesive layer. You choose from two materials: RoughMark™ 285 (polymer white) for an opaque white base and RoughMark™ 287 (polymer transparent) for a transparent look. Both variants are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Printing and Laminates

You can leave RoughMark™ film unprinted or have it printed in full color. Choose 4/0 full color or 5/0 full color + white. The extra white ink layer ensures your design remains clearly visible on dark or transparent film. After printing, you can have the film laminated with Oraguard® 215 (polymer gloss or matte) for extra protection against scratches and weather influences. Want to apply the film to the floor? Choose GF 213 Traffic Graffic, a PVC-free floor laminate of 95 microns that is walkable. Or go for GF 108 Tedlar® DuPont™, an anti-graffiti laminate that protects your print from dirt and graffiti.

Finishing and Adhesive Side

The film is standard cut to size, but you can also choose contour cutting. With Thrucut, the film is cut all the way through; with Kisscut, only the top layer is cut, allowing you to use the film as a sticker. You can specify the number of kiss-cut lines yourself, so you get multiple stickers on one sheet. An application tape is also available to make application easier. Indicate at your order whether you want to apply the film on the outside or inside. For inside application, you must supply the file mirrored.

Size and Production

You order RoughMark™ film in the standard size of 100 x 100 cm, or you specify a custom size. The number of copies is your choice, from 1 to 5. The film is digitally printed on a Canon Colorado M5 or HP Latex 800. Both printers deliver sharp prints with high color stability. You can also choose a production time: Fast, Standard, Express, or One day earlier. This way, you decide when you need the film.

What to Use RoughMark™ Film For?

RoughMark™ film is ideal for printing on walls in shops, hospitality, or at events. It also adheres well to wooden crates, concrete columns, or facades. By choosing different laminates, you adapt the film to the conditions. Use the floor laminate for walkways or the anti-graffiti laminate in areas prone to vandalism. With the white variant, you can print on dark surfaces with a clear result.
