Your logo in relief, no ink

An embosser presses your logo, monogram or seal into paper in relief. No ink is involved: the design is pressed between two matching dies and stays visible and tangible on the sheet. It instantly gives letterheads, certificates, diplomas, books and envelopes an official, elegant look.

Choosing model and size

Round 40 mm is the classic size for letterheads, certificates and books. You can choose from:

• Trodat embosser: round 40 or 50 mm, or rectangular 51 x 25 mm
• Shiny ED: compact embosser in round or square, plus rectangular 50 x 25 mm
• Shiny EH, extra long reach: reaches further into the sheet, handy when the seal should not sit close to the edge
• Shiny ELR desk model: stands firmly on the table and is lighter to use for large quantities

Position of the relief

With the position option you choose from which side you slide the embosser onto the sheet: top, right, bottom or left. We rotate your design so the relief appears upright and readable in that spot. Bottom is common for certificates, top or right for envelopes and the corner of a book.

Supplying your design

Upload your logo when you order. Embossing works best with simple, bold lines of at least 0.5 mm. Avoid very small text and fine details, as they will not come out crisp in paper. A vector file (PDF, SVG or AI) is preferred.

Tips for use: regular writing paper up to light card gives the best result, test very thick board first. Squeeze firmly and evenly. On coloured or metallic paper, or with a gold seal sticker underneath, the relief really stands out.
