A loyalty card or stamp card is a simple way to keep customers coming back: buy ten coffees, get the eleventh free. With your own loyalty card stamp, you add a recognisable mark to the box on every visit. It looks professional and is much harder to copy than a quick pen tick. It is ideal for coffee bars, bakeries, hairdressers, nail studios, ice cream parlours, lunch spots, gyms and speciality shops.

Choosing shape and size
Start with the shape. Square and round both suit a logo, icon or emblem. Then pick a size that fits the boxes on your loyalty card, so measure a box before you order. 12 mm fits almost any box and is ideal for cards with lots of small spaces; choose the Colop Printer Q12 or R12, or the Trodat Printy 4921 or 4612. 17 to 20 mm is clearly visible and gives your logo a bit more room, for example with the Colop Printer Q17 or R17, or the Trodat Printy 46019 or 4922. For cards with large stamp boxes, 24 mm with the Colop Printer Q24 or R24 is a great choice.
Supplying your design
At such a small size, a simple and bold design works best: an icon, an initial or a simplified logo. Use one colour, with no gradients or photos, and keep lines at least 0.2 mm thick. Text is only readable if letters are at least 2 mm high, so stick to one short word or leave text out. A vector PDF or SVG works best, but a sharp PNG or JPG is fine too. Leave 1 mm clear from the edge. We check your file before your stamp is made.
Tips for use
Stamp on a flat surface and press straight down with a steady push. Ink dries more slowly on glossy cards, so give the card a moment before handing it back.
