Crisp impressions again with fresh ink

When your stamp starts printing lighter or patchy, the pad is often simply dry. A few drops of refill ink bring back sharp, even impressions without buying a new pad straight away. Choose the ink that matches your stamp or stamp pad.

Which ink should you choose?

• Refill ink for self inking stamps: for the built in pads of self inking stamps, such as the Colop Printer, Classic and eXpert
• Refill ink for EOS stamps: made for the pads of Colop EOS stamps. Use it only for EOS stamps.
• Ink for stamp pads: for separate stamp pads used with wooden, acrylic or rubber hand stamps
• Quick drying ink for smooth surfaces: for the quick drying stamp pad. Only use it with a matching pad, never in a standard pad or a self inking stamp.

Always choose the same colour your pad already has, or you will end up with a mixed shade.

How to re-ink your stamp

1. Take the pad out of your self inking stamp. On most models you press the stamp down a little and slide the pad out to the side.
2. Drip the ink evenly over the pad. A few drops is enough, too much ink causes smudges.
3. Let the ink soak in for a few minutes.
4. Put the pad back and make a few test prints on scrap paper.

A separate stamp pad is refilled the same way: spread the drops over the whole pad and let it soak in briefly before stamping again.

Handy tips

Do not mix different types of ink in one pad. If your pad has become hard, worn or damaged after long use, re-inking will no longer help. In that case, choose a replacement ink pad for your Colop or Trodat. Close the bottle tightly after use and store it upright.
